All About Mrs. B
My name is Suzanne Bondurant and I am a third grade teacher at Madison Heights Elementary School. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Shenandoah University. I am licensed to teach Pre-k through 4th grade in the state of Virginia. This will be my third year teaching in a public school classroom, but I have many years of experience working in the early childhood and elementary education field. I have been a part of the MHES family for the last five years and am looking forward to spending many more years here at MHES.
I grew up a child of the military and moved all over the east coast. I attended 9 schools over my 13 years of public education and experienced many different styles and philosophies of education. I can truly say that after living all over, the Lynchburg area is by far my favorite place to live.
I have been married for five years to my husband Joe. We have an almost 4 year old little girl, Emilee, and my husband has a 14 year old daughter, Brianna. When I am not at school or working on school work at home, my time is spent going to basketball and volleyball practices and games and chasing around a wide open preschooler.
I am very excited about learning and growing together with your child over the next 10 months. I also am looking forward to working with each and every parent as we mentor your child to become an outstanding citizen, responsible student and help them set and achieve goals for their future.
Here's to a great year!!
