All About Mrs. B
My name is Suzanne Bondurant and I am a third grade teacher at Madison Heights Elementary School. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Shenandoah University. I am licensed to teach pre-k through 4th grade in the state of Virginia. This will be my second year teaching in a public school classroom, but I have many years of experience working in the early childhood and elementary education field. I have been a part of the MHES family for the last three years and am looking forward to spending many more years here at MHES.
I grew up a child of the military and moved all over the east coast. I attended 9 schools over my 13 years of public education and experienced many different styles and philosophies of education. I have an older brother you settled here in Amherst County, followed by my parents after retirement and finally myself. I can truly say that after living all over, Madison Heights is by far my favorite place to live.
I have been married for four years to my husband Joe. We have an almost 3 year old little girl, Emilee, and my husband has a 13 year old daughter, Brianna. When I am not at school or working on school work at home, my time is spent going to basketball and volleyball practices and games and chasing around a wide open toddler.
I am very excited to learning and growing together with your child over the next 10 months. I also am looking forward to working with each and every parent as we mentor your child to become an outstanding citizen, responsible student and help them set and achieve goals for their future.
Here's to a great year!!
There are many ways to contact me. The most effective and quick way would be through email. Below you will find all of my contact information. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any questions. I am happy to talk with you about your child at any time. However, out of respect for my students' privacy, I do not discuss student progress when I have other students in the classroom. If you wish to discuss your child's progress, please contact me to schedule a conference.
